This is another attempt at simplifying the mazechess challenge rules. here are the rules and of course checkout mazechess.com/rules for the history of the mazechess challenge rules changes.

MAZECHESS v1.91
1.Move ♚King,  ♞Knight, ♜Rook, or ♝Bishop from A1 to H8 on clear spaces (grey or white squares)in a minimum number of moves.
2.A Piece may be switched at anytime. The cost of a switch is an extra move.
3.A piece cannot land on certain squares including:
lava  water   chasms  forrest and dungeon wall 
4.A knight can move across any square except dungeon wall
